It is a soft stone relatively easy to work contrary to hard stones. nevertheless, like the wood, it is necessary to respect its thread or you risk splitting it up. It is the stone which decides the subject you are realizing. once the work is accomplished, there is a long phase of polishing and a cleaning with linseed oil which colours will enlight and work.
