Biography
L'art,
c'est la contemplation. C'est le plaisir qui pénètre la nature et qui y
devine l'esprit dont elle est elle-même animée.
Auguste RODIN
However as far as I remamber
myself, I've always liked drawings. As a child, I drew horses.
As a teenager, I loved painters
like Ingres, Géricault. I often went to the museum of the Louvre in Paris,
to admire the pictures of the XVIIIth and XIXth century.
I began to paint in 1994.
Completely self-educated, I discovered the use of the colour, the
pigments, oil then acrylic. I liked creating an atmosphere, shadows and ligh.
Behind every painting realized,
there is a story, one or several people I met. There is also a
photographic work. How to get the righ glance, attitude, posture.... very
often, with patience. (My photographies are
distributed by the photographic Agency NATURIMAGES).
The animal is like a human being
and it is necessary to know how to compose with its humour and its
character.
► In 2010,
I became member of the Artists For Conservation Foundation
 |
"The Artists for Conservation Foundation (AFC)
- formerly the Worldwide Nature Artists Group (WNAG) - is a

conservation, biodiversity, sustainability and environmental

regularly.
